A mother of four and a lover of yoga, Dana began her journey when well meaning friends and family suggested her son get tested for ADD/ADHD before he started school. This didn't sit well with her and she started scouring the internet for alternatives.  Children's yoga kept popping up in her search.  Unable to find a kids yoga teacher here in Tulsa, she decided to become certified herself.

In 2011, Dana studied under Shakta Kaur Khalsa, one the world's leading experts in children's yoga, completing Radiant Child Yoga Level 1-3 RCY.  In 2013, she completed Jodi Komitor's Next Generation Yoga certification for 7-13 year olds with Nicole Koleshis.   In addition, she did online training with the most popular kids yoga teacher in the world, Jamie from Cosmic Kids Yoga.

In the winter of 2013, Dana became the children's yoga expert and contributing writer for Upside Down Games, a company in Los Angeles committed to helping children grow into healthy, intelligent, socially conscious members of society.

Dana will be a forever student and is always furthering her education.  In 2015, she completed James Fox's Prison Yoga Project training and became a Journey of a Young Woman mentor.  Dana is also the Kid Zone coordinator for the mid-west's largest yoga festival, the I AM Yoga, Music & Art Festival.

Recently, she partnered with the Family Hope House leading a clincal research study on the affect of yoga for children and teens with PTSD and/or trauma.  If you would like to support this program please contact Dana or Family Hope House
